Memorial day marks the end of a school year. Marks the start of summer for the kids. Marks the beginning of vacations days, a short vacation!. Marks the start of Boy Scout and marshmallows.
Memorial day a day to remember the sacrifice maid. Remember the ones that fight for their beliefs. Remember the pain of every Mother, every family because we will never forget what they have done for US.
In remembering the past we must look to the future. That is what the sacrifice was/is all about. The freedom to go to the beach, have cookout with few beers, take summer vacation from school or the boyscout outing. The tears and sacrifice are only worth while if we continue to be free and ensure the freedom of our posterity (children & their children & on & on).
